Training duration varies by NDT method and certification level. For Level I and II certifications, expect 40-80 hours of classroom instruction plus hands-on practical training. You have 12 months of access to complete the online portion at your own pace.
Upon successful completion of both theoretical and practical examinations, your certification is issued within 3-5 business days. You'll receive a digital certificate immediately in your student portal, and a physical certificate will be mailed to you. The certificate includes your name, NDT method, certification level, expiration date, and a unique verification number.
If you don't pass on your first attempt, we provide detailed feedback on areas needing improvement. You can retake the written exam after additional study time. For practical exams, our instructors will work with you to identify specific skills to develop. One retake is included in your course fee; additional attempts may incur a nominal fee.
NDT certifications are typically valid for 5 years from the date of issue, in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A guidelines. To maintain your certification, you'll need to complete recertification before expiration. We offer convenient recertification courses that combine updated theory with practical skills verification to keep your credentials current.
